It’s the future of business. Imagine a world where people concern themselves first with how they can help others in building and growing their business. Do you think that people would find you interesting if the first thing you said to them when you met them was, “What is your primary focus these days and how can I help you?” For most people when they meet someone their first inclination is to make sure that person knows how much knowledge they have; or how much money they have; or why they don’t have one of those; or why they can’t or won’t do something, and on and on. Have you ever met one of those people where you can just ask them one question and they can talk the ENTIRE evening? (Yawn!!!)
If you have seen the movie (or read the book) “The Secret” then you understand that the Universe gives you what you attract, and you attract what you give. (If you haven’t read or seen the Secret - do it today.) Imagine if everywhere you went, or with everyone you met you were trying to be helpful to them. “What are you working on, and how can I help you?” If you believe that the Universe gives you what you attract, and you attract what you give, and you’re running around asking how you can help people. Hmmmmmm. Do you think some good things might start to happen to you?
I have been doing this EXACT strategy for only 3 days. Just 3 days. In that 3 days I found a VERY large private lender; a person who brings specific, needed skills to a side project I have going on that wants to joint venture with me; a skilled web designer to help me with a project that has been on the side burner for months; and a new, like-minded friend in my hometown while we were 700+ miles from home. I’m not kidding. That was all in 3 days after learning this one line, “What are you working on, and how can I help you?” and then implementing it!!!
So, now I’m asking you . . . “What is the most important thing you’re working on these days, and how can I help you?”
